Environmental Policy

Monitise contributes positively to the global environment.

Whilst our business infrastructure has a relatively minor impact on the environment in which we work, by bringing mobile money to people everywhere we have a significant contribution to make. We can avoid the need for people to travel to their bank and use paper to obtain information.

We acknowledge our environmental responsibility and are committed to operating our business in an environmentally sensitive manner. In our day to day working, each one of us can make a contribution by following the policy guidelines below which are endorsed by Executive Management:

To comply with and, whenever possible, exceed all relevant environmental and health and safety legislation.
To provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
To reduce pollution and waste, recycling whenever possible and properly disposing of waste that cannot be recycled.
To purchase environmentally friendly products and services whenever practicable.
To use energy, water and natural resources efficiently.
To raise staff awareness of environmental issues and encourage their participation in good environmental practices.
To communicate this policy to all employees and openly make it available to the public.
To continuously seek to improve our environmental performance by monitoring our progress and reviewing our environmental objectives on a regular basis, if necessary amending the contents of this policy annually.
